Vision and Mission at Hope Child Care Program

Vision:
Taking God’s word and love to the world.

Mission:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you invited me in; naked, and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.” Matthew 25:35-36.

These words from Jesus drive the mission of Hope Child Care Program. Our mission is to show the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ to those in great need. In the Rakai District, those in needs too often refer to a child. Many children have lost one or both parents to AIDS. Children have no protection or security. We put the words above in action through our care and support to the AIDS orphans of Bulanga Village in Rakai District.

To accomplish this, we provide clothing, food, shelter, medical care, education and whatever is needed. It is our dream and desires to allow the children to grow up in protected, safe and secure environment where they feel the love of God through those around them.

Discipleship is done for children to grow up on a solid Christian foundation.
Once the burden of these children is lifted, they will be able to once again laugh and enjoy their childhood the way God intended.
